About Donna ScimiaDonna Scimia, Principal and founder of ScimiaConsultingGroup, Inc., is a high impact consultant with expertise in organizational effectiveness and problem solving. She has extensive, diversified experience in training, remedial coaching, and behavioral risk management for EAP’s and human resource consulting firms. Donna brings a unique perspective and a solid base of knowledge built on over twenty years experience as a trusted adviser to human resource professionals and top management in more than 100 profit and not-for-profit organizations. Industries include sports, law, finance, government, advertising, media, healthcare, publishing, automotive, insurance, retail, hospitality, medical/dental and pharmaceutical.
An expert in organizational systems, Donna uses her paralegal background and solid knowledge of human behavior and employment law to coach and train executive administrators and human resources regarding employee behavior and workplace practices that can foster costly organizational liability and impact morale and productivity.
In addition, Donna developed and delivered trainings to hundreds of employees. Always customized, topics include coaching/performance management skills for managers, conflict resolution with colleagues and customers, sexual harassment prevention and numerous other trainings designed to enhance organizational effectiveness and minimize risk. Donna is a preferred trainer for several major healthcare providers.

Donna received her MS in Behavioral Science from Columbia University and is a member of SHRM, the OD Network of NY, ASTD, and JSEC.
Donna created and hosts weekly cable talk show “Taming the Cubicle Jungle”. The show, which can also be viewed at www.PCTV76.org, gives voice to and provides solutions for a multitude of workplace challenges.
Donna’s articles have been published in the Employee Relations Law Journal. She’s also been selected to speak for SHRM conferences and events, the Risk & Insurance Management Society, the Westchester Women’s Bar Association and other key organizations. Donna’s been interviewed for numerous newspaper articles and newsletters.
In her spare time, Donna volunteers for the local food pantry and the Midnight Run for the homeless. She also plays the saxophone for two bands.
